Every child needs a father

*

There are instants of clarity in life - even Limousine Life - that only the camera can catch.

I spied these two funsters sitting atop their car and immediately saw the message: this is what dads are for.

Dads say Hey, lets jump on the roof and see what we can see!

And that's why they are so important.

*Another photograph from the Tampa airport cellphone lot.

That is such a great photo....my brother tried to replace my sons lack of dad when he was growing up....but I know he really felt the lack.

and yes, some of our kids most treasured memories are the goofy things (and the not so goofy) they did with their daddy!

Dads are SO good at that stuff. Moms are good for, "Get off of there before you fall!"

Thank you, Enigma. Yep, no doubt, dads are good.

Thanks Girl. Ummm, leash? I guess so, although it's not quite what I had in mind.

Thanks Savannah. Dad memories are good. If only every kid had them.

Funny, NiteByrd, I nearly wrote exactly that line contrasting mums and dads. But I didn't want the feminist flack.

It's true!

Amesome post Dub! Great picture and a great moment for father and daughter. Even though they may not think that much about it in the next few weeks, months and years later, it will bring a smile to both of their faces.

It's funny what we remember as children...many more of the little things, rather than the big blow-out vacations to Disneyland.

I admire you for recognizing and appreciating this occasion, rather than taking the easy route of just rolling your eyes and thinking they are somehow "weird".

Hey, Jeffrey. I missed your comment.

Nice to see you around, as always.

Thanks.
